Applications are closed for 2017. Please check back next year.
TWO SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL EACH BE AWARDED A BURSARY VALUED AT $1,500, BASED ON ACADEMIC STANDARDS, LEADERSHIP IN THEIR COMMUNITY AND A DEMONSTRATED INTEREST IN THE CATTLE SECTOR.
The Beef is Your Future Bursary is offered by the Livestock Marketers of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association to Saskatchewan high school students who are enrolled in their final year of high school as of April 1, 2017 and eligible to graduate from high school in 2017. Eligible candidates must be enrolled or planning to enrol at a Canadian post‑secondary institution in a first-year agriculture or veterinary medical program (diploma or certificate) with the intent to work in the beef industry upon completion.
If you have applied for entry into a college or university, but have not yet been accepted, you can still apply for the Beef is Your Future Bursary. However, if you are awarded a bursary, you must provide an acceptance letter from your educational institution before the honour can be disbursed. Selection will be made by an independent panel.
